Hello. My wife and I are new to chickens. We are thinking about this while we are planning how to feed ourselves in case of hard economic times ahead. I found this site via Google and I hope to learn lots before I start. We hope to get 3-5 hens for egg production in our suburban backyard. We are also starting a garden this year. It looks like I have lots of reading to do before I get started. Great site.
