My chicks who hatched on 18 August have begun to lay in the last two weeks. They are rolling the eggs out of the nesting boxes of the other hens. I've never had this problem before. Is there a way to stop this?

They are probably just wondering what those rocks are doing in those comfy boxes. As soon as they figure out they are eggs, they'll quit. Its normal for hens to "collect" eggs in preparation of hatching a clutch. Patience.

Congratulations on the new layers!

Thank you..that's an encouraging word..I'll just wait them out.
