Newest Homemade Incubator

Sure styrofoam can work great. You have to get those lamps at your local feed store (tractor supply) and such.Id say try with a 25 watt.If you use styrofoam, might be better to 'gut' a used lamp then carve a hole in the middle of the styrofoam lid to insert the lamp head in.

Well this years incubating is done.Way too many chickens!!! Next year will be my dark cornish bulldog project.

Way too hot!!! Use 25 watts on styrofoam first.

Also Never get those "energy efficent" bulbs for incubating. They have mercury in them.

I have a 40w in the lamp so... should I use that w/ w/out styrofoam. Or just 25w w/ styro. Or 60w w/out styro. This is confusing!

Edit: I'm probably just gonna use 25w with styrofoam. It fits better because this aquarium is in a bookshelf with a roof 3 in above it.
