Hello @SoilMatesofGA and :welcome

I am beyond excited to hear that you are going to start raising chickens! It truly is an amazing experience. Plus, you'll have an endless supply of delicious eggs. :clap

We have a lot of resources available for beginner poultry owners. Take a minute to browse around our forums and do some research. It will make it a lot easier when you get your hands on some chickens.

I would recommend getting as many different breeds as possible. It makes each member of your flock unique, and you may have quite the assortment of multi-colored eggs!

I look forward to seeing you around the forums! :thumbsup

Have an 🥚cellent day!
- Justin
