Glad to meet you. I am tickled by your tidbit about "chicken camp" for dog trainers. There are several others here who use click training with their chickens. Once you are settled here, you might consider writing a good article about click training and training in general. There are only a few articles I see about training and none about click training, though I have seen it discussed among members. Here are some hints about writing a great article on this site (some is tongue in cheek, but it's good advice). Welcome to the community and best wishes with those birds!
 
Oooh, did you figure out how to get rid of all those extra roosters? People have suggested posting ads on:
1. your local Craigslist;
2. your local Facebook poultry interest group, if there is one;
3. our BackYard chicken list for your state or area, here.
4. After you have put up a certain number of posts here, you can also put up an ad in the Buy, Sale or Trade section here.

In all cases, I suggest including the best glamor shot you can get of the rooster in question, and all the information you have about breed, where you got the bird (parentage, bloodlines, where you got the eggs), and temperament, to help those boys get better homes rather than the soup pot.

We have 3 Barred Rocks, 3 Azurs, 2 White Laced Whyendots who are about 2 years old. And this spring we hatched 16 chickens in hopes of getting an Ameraucana rooster. It turned out that the Ameraucannas were Eater Eggers. There were a bunch of other breeds in the 16 eggs that hatched, all but 3 of the chicks that hatched were roosters! I'm interested in breeding for egg color and I'm a dog trainer and I can train chickens if anyone wants to learn. I use a clicker to mark the behavior I want. It turns out that dog trainers go to "chicken camp" to practice their techniques for better dog training.

I can't believe you only got 3 pullets! Welcome here I got my first flock 2 years ago too. I've learned lots from this group. How cool you got birds with your coop!.
