Just got our SFC eggs from Stony Rock Farm in Hillsborough, NC. We are in Oregon. It took 3 days for the package to get here. I ordered 6, she sent 8, and all arrived in good condition, none cracked. I'm including pictures because as we have never tried to hatch before, any input is great. I have them sitting on the counter so they can gradually come up to room temperature; I plan to put them in the incubator tomorrow. I have had it up and running for a couple days and the temperature is holding at 100 with a humidity of 52. This is verified by both the incubator's temperature and another one I have set inside.
I candled all the eggs, and nothing is really visible inside - so either they had the cr*p shaken out of them or they haven't begun to develop yet. My impression is that the latter might be true, as the lady I corresponded with said they'd be very fresh.

Eggs will not develop until they have been in the incubator, letting them rest is a good idea. I did my first this year too, planned before this corona outbreak.. I am glad I did. We are hatching now

You won't be able to see any development in the eggs until they've been in the incubator for at least 7 days. However, I normally candle somewhere in between 7-14 days. But even then, you should be very careful to candle them. Limit opening the incubator to as little as possible. Especially be careful that when you're theoretically holding these 7-14 day old developed eggs that you don't put the air sac at risk. You'll be able to see the air sac if/when you candle the eggs later.

Everything else sounds good. I hope the hatching goes well!
