So I just had 12 eggs finish hatching, but one of the last ones to hatch has an eye issue. It seems like something is wrong with its membrane, and it can’t close just the one. I still have him in an incubator, but was wondering if there’s anything I can do to help?

Looks like just a bit of the egg membrane got stuck and dried on its eye.

Get a cup full of very hot water and a paper towel.

Dip a bit of the paper towel in the cup of water, and gently soak the eye area.

Make sure you don't get water in the nose.

The cup is because the paper towel will cool down fast, so it is for you to keep rewarming the paper towel.

Once the bit on the eye is soaked it should gently rub off.
