newly hatched guineas dying

I had a great hatch 24 guineas hatched from Wednesday til today. Now they are dying one by one.So far 13 dead. What did I do wrong?

Did you let them dry out before moving them? I keep mine at 95 for a few days before lowering the temp, also give them water that is warmed, i also place their food on a paper towel and I do dip their beaks in water to teach them where the water is. I am new at raising guineas but lots of chicks and ducks, but i think they really need to be kept warm . I have several of the styrofoam incubators and when i have them hatching i have another incubator i place mine in and keep them there for about 24 hours before moving them into an incubator, a friend of mine that hatches lots, says they need to have the warm water . i fill with warm water and place it directly under the light to keep it warm. hope this helps, so sorry after such a great hatch.

So sorry after such a great hatch! I'm really new at this, but my first hatch was very successful and I'm on my 2nd hatch now. My chick feed is medicated. Is yours? I've raised many chicks but am still new at the keets. I try to keep their little brooder container about 90-95 degrees. I'll keep them in that for about a week until they are good and strong and ready to go to the big brooder house. And even in there, try to keep the heat going 85-90 degrees. I've heard they shouldn't be moved from the incubator until they are good and dry and to keep them very warm. It almost sounds like your keets might have had some kind of quick respiratory thing? I think there are medications a person can add to the water. I'd ask a vet for sure. Maybe be sure your container is disinfected very well. Sure sorry about that! Keep posted if you figure anything out for sure!
