My peachick just hatched bout 35 minutes ago in my Hova-Bator incubator I've been hand turning it. How long is it until they get their feet right? How long does it take for them to fluff up? I'm new to incubators and peachicks.. Thank you! <3

That's my Baby <3 I'm so excited I have one more that is supposed to hatch Thursday (this one was supposed to too.. Does that mean itts a black shoulder? (The lady I got the eggs from said they could either be black shoulder or blue India

Blackshoulder chicks look completely yellowish white at hatch. Therefore ,your chick is not BS at all-.may be indiablue split BS. or just IB.

Cute little guy! It will get fluffy soon!
I don't know anything about this myself, but from what the hatchers discuss here, sometimes peachicks need help getting their feet right.
You might do a search or ask a specific peachick-foot-related question.

Usually it takes 2 hours for the peachick to dry in the incubator and 3-5 hours til they are fluffy. Usually once the peachick is fluffy they begin to walk and run just leave it in the incubator or in a very warm place above 80 degrees fahrenheit. Wait at least 24 hours after hatch and let it rest it can survive 48 hours without food or water because of what is left in the yolk that is still in their body. Let the peachick rest for a day or two but keep an eye on it.
