Newly hatched quail crying - damaged neck?

(S)he seems to be doing a lot better now (S)he is still wobbly and a lot more clumsy than its siblings (even more than the ones that hatched 8-9 hours ago and went into the brooder now), but is moving forward (all the time?) AND keeping its head up (and without using its beak as support)

I'm glad your chick is doing better. You might ask a vet if they can recommend a product similar to Nutri-drench or Save-a-chick in your area. It's basically molasses (to give an energy boost) with vitamins and nutrients added.
