Next week hatch

HI, I have 5 eggs to hatch next week. Its my first batch so I need advise.
I have one of my own eggs from my red hen that I put in before the other 4 egg. Should I leave my first chick in the incubator until the other four hatch and then take them all out together or should I take my first chick out before the others hatch. And when should I remove shells need answer a.s.a.p please . Chicks will hatch this thursday, friday the 18th and 19th july

How far ahead is that egg? Chicks can stay in the incubator about 3 days absorbing their yolk sack before they need food and water. So, I'd say if its more than 3 days ahead take the chick out quickly when its dry. If its just a day or 2 ahead everyone may hatch before you need to take it out. Good luck.

The egg is about 23 hours older than the other four thank you, I will leave them in until all are dry
