I am planning on bringing 2 OEGB chicks (only if someone may be interested) one is a splash and the other is a buff. they are 3 weeks old and I really dont want ot bring them if it is cool outside. I may hold off till the next swap. I am also planning on bringing a trio of golden sebrites. I am also going to give the jewelry one more shot!

Looks like you all have a great day for a swap!!!!! Hope everyone sells a bunch and has fun (which I know you will!) My youngest has a football game that we have to be to at 9:15 in Concord this morning so I am not gonna make this one or probably any others for the rest of the year

I do have some chickens that I need to sell and rabbits too-- Maybe I will get a chance to list them this week. It looks like the kids and I won't be here that long........ so time to get rid of everyone which is going to be hard to do.

I have a couple frizzles, frankensilkies, silkies, littleee bantams, a buff orp and nh red. Don't know the exact numbers of what I have but everyone is outside fully feathered on chick grower. Also have a beautiful pair of EE's that should be laying VERY soon, call duck pair, holland lops, astrex/dwarf bunnies, a black mini rex male, and a dwarf/rex doe. Any interest you can PM me. Thanks I will try to add pictures soon too!

Will anyone be bringing any millefluer d'uccle pullets/hens to westford? my mother and i have 2 cockerels and we want to get them some ladies.

We enjoyed seeing people today. We also plan to go to Milford on the 20th---i need to get some cage clips from the folks that always have cages. He didn't have any today, but said he'd bring them to Milford.

This afternoon we had a lovely surprise! We got our FIRST PULLET EGG!

A beautiful brown egg from one of my Barred Rocks that I raised from a hatchery chick.

We could tell it was her egg for a couple reasons---one, it had a bit of black and white feather stuck to the shell, and two, she made her triumph known. She's been visiting the nest boxes a lot lately, so I figured she was getting ready to lay. We heard her cackling, so the boys went out and found the egg---still hot! This hen is a day shy of 20 wks old!
