Niacin deficiency? Please help

Hi all! I'm a new duck mama to six ducks. Purchased from our local rural king. My husband and I are lacking a lot of knowledge on the subject and kind of jumped in head first. I've done as much research as I could online but so much is vague. I have a white crested that started having leg problems recently. When it was smaller its legs were fine but last week I noticed that looked swollen and crooked. The other ducks legs are fine. Could it be a niacin deficiency? What can I do to help it? This duck is so sweet and my absolute fave. Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

Crested ducks are known for nuerological problems, or so ive read i have no experience with them

I’d get that little one on some liquid b complex ASAP it can help with leg weakness and neurological issues. TSC has the best one it’s in the cattle dept 1ml a day over something tasty that the little one loves. All your duckling can benefit from it but this one especially needs it. Created ducks can def have neurological problems because the skull isn’t closed under that poof of feathers. It’s just fatty tissue so you def want to be careful if this one is female and you have drakes she can injured because drakes grab hold of head feathers when mating but that’s down the road for now main thing is getting this one up on its legs. Pool therapy is another way to strengthen leg muscles always make a way to safely get in an out of the pool.

I dont have a tsc near me, do you know if rural king has something similar or can I get the human form? How much do I give and how often? Thank you all for the replies!!

The website says they carry the same kind. 1 ml a day until you see improvement. Then switch to Brewer's yeast or Nutritional yeast for maintenance.

I am also new to ducklings and have 8, 3 are Pekins and one does not seem to be right , he trips on his feet and does not walk as good as the others and today I found him stuck on his back twice already , the first time was in the morning and I’m not sure how long he had been like that since I had checked them last night. I have added poultry booster to their food and also just purchased this niacin, is this safe to put in there water ? I was told to only use 100mg per gallon of water .

DO NOT give them this kind!!!!
This kind can kill them since it is extended release. Their bodies will not get a break from getting it and it will destroy their liver!
