Niacin for ducklings

I am doing a bit of reading about adding niacin. My ducklings are on a chick starter food. The farm I got them from said they don't supplement with niacin. They just feed chick starter and thats it.
So I bought the same chick starter food they use but now I'm reading that niacin helps with leg and brain development.
I can get niacin pills from Walmart

Are you able to get Flock Raiser at your feed store? That would be probably be ideal.

What breed of ducks?

If you can find a Liquid B Complex Livestock solution at your feed store that would be better than the pills.

No flock raiser. Just stuff for chickens.

Get some liquid b complex that way your covered you can get it for cattle in the feed stores or buy human liquid b complex once you find it let us know which one and we’ll give you the dose. Your very smart to do your research and want to raise your ducklings healthy.

Would this work? How much do they need?

1 duck needs 55mg a day for every kg of food eaten. Most ducks only eat .2 kg of feed which works out to 11 mg of niacin per day.
So if you have 5 ducklings you need to put 55 mg of niacin in their daily feed.

If each pill has 500 mg you are gonna have a hard time breaking that down.
How many ducks do you have?
Does your walmart have this kind?
