Hey I have a friend who only has access to chicken food and is unsure how much niacin to give there adult duck. Anyone have like an amount per gallon or per day?

Not sure about adding as a supplement, but I know people have success simply providing peas with chicken food. Peas have niacin. Buying them frozen allows them to last in the freezer a long time and they are cheap. I can get a bag of frozen pass for under $1.

Niacin requirements vary with breed, and the age of the bird; what is the age, and breed of the duck?

Did your friend look for brands under the name of All Flock, or Flock Raiser? Most feed stores will carry a feed formulated for both and chickens and ducks. If they don't carry it, try asking the manager and see if they can order it in.
