I am feeding my ducks Flockraiser. Is there enough niacin in it for ducklings? One little duck seems to have a foot that turns inward. I'm wondering what to do?? I'm hoping it will straighten out on its own. The ducklings are about 4 wks old.

I have used FR from hatch till end of life which is over 10 yrs for some of my ducks never had a niacin problem but they are all out on the ground at 2-3 days since i have mama ducks who raise them, so probably wouldn't hurt to use some Brewers yeast till 10 weeks when we had one duckling rejected and brought it in to raise I did sprinkle BY on his feed to make sure he was getting all he needed even though I took him out daily I just wasn't sure I could do as well as mama duck. and maybe this will help with the foot, it gives alot of good info and even talks about a shoe you can make that may help.. https://sites.google.com/a/poultrypedia.com/poultrypedia/poultry-podiatryI am feeding my ducks Flockraiser. Is it both legs? any heat or swelling? We are having the same problem with our 4-week-old Peking. I've increased her brewer's yeast, and have been giving her niacin-enriched water for about a week. I haven't seen any difference yet, though. I'm hoping to hear some good ideas here!
I don't have a bag inside the house but I think it's either 20 or 22% protein thinking more 20%Does flockraiser have enough protein?
What age and when did this start? It is both legs, but I haven't noticed any heat or swelling. I'll check closer. Poor thing, she just can't walk well at all and seems to be pretty distressed.

If she was just a tiny duckling makes me think this maybe a birth defect instead of a niacin issue but I would continue with the B's does she drink water on her own you might try adding some to her water it won't hurt the others. I know Poultry Nutri Drench can be given by mouth and others like to use Poly vi sol with out iron which tastes awful. At this point it's either a vet or just keep trying with the vitamins. Keeping food and water close by so she doesn't have to exert herself. Will she float in warm water? how does she use her legs?About 2 weeks old, so about 2 weeks ago. I noticed her hips were developing differently than the others, but since she is the only Peking and was growing so much faster than the others, I thought maybe it was normal. When it became obvious that it wasn't, I started the niacin water. After reading a post on the Metzer Farms site, I also picked up some liquid B-complex today that has niacin in it, but I can't seem to get more than a drop in her. She seems to be getting worse. I did look a minute ago, and I don't see any swelling or hot spots on her legs.
