Niacin?

I'm getting 6 ducklings soon and I have a question regarding feed. The bag says it is chick food but there is also a picture of ducklings. Should I assume that means it is a complete feed for ducks too? Is there anything I can look for to be sure? Or should I still provide extra niacin? (What is the ratio of yeast to feed?)

as long as the food has about 16 a- 17 % crude protine you should be fine.

I would add the Niacin. Even using duck grower feed you still sometimes need to add niacin. Some ducklings just need more than others. It can't hurt to add it and it's fairly cheap.

If you go to metzers.com they have some great info on how to ensure your feed is right for ducklings. As DuckPan said they need a little more protein than chicks.
