It seems like there's a lot of posts here of people unhappy with their roosters for one reason or another.
Please tell me if you like having a rooster around and why. How many "bad" (or soup pot) ones did you have to go through? Are most of them good and occasionally you get a mean one?
And yes, growing up a city girl, this is my first experience with chickens and I LOVE having them. But I will admit, I've heard lots of rooster horror stories. But they can't all be bad, right?
I'm thinking of getting a Light Brahma roo as they are supposed to be more docile.
