I was just out feeding and watering the chickens, I have 58 CornishX broilers in the coop, and I am quite pleased to see how thick their legs are at 3 weeks this year, last year I had one girl with bad legs, and she almost died on me a few times before she was of a worthy size. This year the chicks have a larger coop, and room to range and exercise in the coop, they are flapping about and jumping like only the layers did last year, it's so nice to see them so active. I've got a table in there with low cross bars on the legs that some of them like to perch (stand) on, lost 3 in the first 3 days, and two due to piling incidents when I thought it was time to start reducing the light, and saved one that overheated the day before I tried reducing the light.
