I have been raising chickens since Feb. of this year and I'm already an addict. Lol My friends and family think I'm nuts so.. hence the title.. I'm so glad I'm not alone. Most of my friends and family adore dogs and cats which I do too but they don't understand my chicken fascination and therefore avoid talking to me at times because it always turns to chicken talk lol. I was an early victim of chicken math...only took a week and I was back to TSC to buy mor chicks because 6 just wasn't enough. ;) Any who, I now have 16 chickens and a broody sitting on 3 eggs! :D I currently am raising Japanese Bantams, Cochin Bantams, SL wyandottes, and some production red ladies. Glad to be here!

Here's a pic of my broody girl in action doing her thing. We should have babies right around Christmas if all goes well. Fingers crossed

No, you are not alone in your chicken obsession. Lots of us here have it bad. So we come here to talk chicken when no one else in the household will listen to us anymore. Ha!
