Nieghbors!!

We were raising chickens in columbia sc and the whole blocked loved the eggs we would give them. Then these new jerk nieghbors complained and we had to get rid of them. On top of that they lied in our faces a told us they loved chickens. Now we are working on raising stealth quail!
I am sorry about your nieghbors but it happens to the best of us urban chicken keepers!

Even better than a really loud barking dog tied next to the fence for revenge (which might be cruelty in some locales), is the kind of dog you don't have to feed or tie out. What I mean is that I won't admit to doing this, but I have, um, heard of people who buy those battery operated remote controlled barking dogs and set it near the fence of the offending neighbors. It's perfect for nice summer days when they are having cookouts or working in their yard. And when animal control comes to the door just show them around the house and yard to prove that your neighbor is just "making stuff up because they don't like you because (insert a reason why they might not like you i.e. religion, race etc.)". After coming to your house a few times they will go talk to the "anonymous complainer" about fines and penalties for making false reports. Then you can have whatever you want in your yard. I'm not saying that I have done this but it is fun to watch it happen.

do you know what kind of music she likes? if you can find out , get the total opposite and sit in your back yard with a tape player as loud as it will go, and if she complains, just tell her " since you couldn't have nice quite chickens you would try to like music. marrie
