I have a Nigerian Dwarf doe in need of a new home. We rescued her from a bad situation in April and, after 3 months of observation and care, we think she's ready for a new home. We have full size Alpine/Nubian girls, and she deserves to be in a herd of goats her own size.

Since this was an emergency rescue, her history is not full filled in, but I'll do my best here.

What we know:
- She's had a C-section delivery at some point in the past (you can still feel the incision location), and her prior owner let her run with a buck afterward. However, having had her for the last 3 months, I'm pretty confident she's not currently pregnant... unless she's hiding it really well.
- Her hooves grow pretty quickly, but have been trimmed every 3-4 weeks since we got her.
- She does well on a grassfed diet - our non-milkers have free choice hay and mineral, and access to a periodically rotated paddock of browse.
- She appears to have one non-functioning teat.
- We rescued her along with a pure bred Nubian, who subsequently died of pneumonia. None of the other goats have shown symptoms, so we think they're fine, but they've been exposed.

What we were told:
- the prior owner claims she's UTD on shots, and CAE/CL/Johnes free, as of this past February. But we don't have documentation of either as she self-administered and did home testing.

What we do not know:
- No clue if she's registered or registerable. I've looked for a tattoo, but since my own goats aren't registered I could be missing it.
- Previous owner did not milk, so I couldn't begin to guess what her production levels are.
- Whether the C-Section was a result of kid presentation complications, or if she just failed to deliver.

With all of the above in mind, I'm asking $100, more as a rehoming fee than as a sale price. Whether that ultimately will make her the most affordable milker in your herd, or a modestly priced pet, I honestly couldn't say.

Can provide pictures if you're interested and will do my best to answer any questions I haven't covered here.
