This is eve. I have recently bought her a new friend so she won't be upset. And I've found her addiction.. Ritz crackers lol. What do people usually look for in a Nigerian for show quality? She's currently 3 months old

Because she is new to your herd, definitely get a fecal sample sent off to the vet, looking for worms and coccidia. That way you know if you need to treat for either before introducing her to your other goat. How much does she weigh? Keep an eye on her weight, make sure she is gaining and growing. To me, she looks a little bit scrawny/undersized for a three month old kid. If she has a coccidia load (most kids do unless they are kept on a preventative) it can stunt their growth.

Is she ADGA or AGS registered?

As for show traits, they are best seen when a goat is trimmed. You can't see body conformation through fluff, but it is a bit cold for that. Thanks. I'm really new to this. She's my first one. I have bought another one from her past herd. I just have to go get it. My friend is a vet though I'll have her take a look

She is not registered. Is that ok?

Not being registered just limits your ability to attend some shows. You can still learn showmanship with her, or show at small local fairs in 4H. Anything outside of 4H, like an ADGA or AGS sanctioned show, she wouldn't be able to attend.

She's also hunched up in the pic it looks like, so that will make the stump look steeper.

It's ok I bought a goat from her old herd and she's pregnant. Maybe her off apron will be better in March
