So I've seen in old threads that it's ok for my hens to eat the deadly nightshade berries in my yard as it's not toxic to chickens, but there's a lot. Will it affect the eggs they produce and make those toxic for humans? I'm realizing I have no idea how much or little nutrients pass through to these eggs.

Welcome! I have nightshade here too, and it's a pretty plant, BUT I'm pulling it out every chance I get. At least it comes out of the ground easily, and goes into a garbage bag, and gone. My birds have very little access to it, because I'm vigilant about removing it.
Here, it grows under trees, where wild birds drop the seeds, and anywhere that the soil is disturbed. Apparently the seeds live a VERY LONG time underground, and sprout when exposed to air and light.
