We have a local nightshade (American Black Nightshade) on the property, my birds free range, and ignore it. I'm also removing it mechanically, been at it for years. Making slow progress.
Don't let its presence deter you from free ranging if that's what you want to do. Just don't put a chicken tractor over it and fill the tractor with Cx and expect them to graze around it.
Like so much else, these plants are only a problem when the birds have no other alternative eats.
