I was concentrating on trying to get a picture of my Buff Orpington/Rock/whatever to see about the red in the comb, and look what's going on at the top of the picture....The buff "girl" is 4 1/2 weeks about...and that's a silver laced wyandotte girl doing the martial arts thing.

Crazy birds.

According to the experts here... the yellow legs on your young-un indicate that the breed is Buff Rock. Buff Orps have silvery-pink legs. As far as gender...I am having a time with a few of my ten week olds - various breeds -in determining the gender. -Lynn

Hmmm...combs can just pop out of thin air it seems. Perhaps update with a pick in another week or so.
