Yeah...I used to wear glasses but then they kept falling off for two years, so I got contacts.

I still can't do that yet.

I've tried, and I almost lost my contact lens in the process.

You'll get there. I'm just practicing for when I live off the grid someday.

I come from a family with terrible vision, so no amount of carrots would save me. xD

B/c they do doesn't necessarily mean you'll carry that trait visibly throughout your life. You could carry it in your DNA though! One thing I've often noticed is that traits often skip generations, also.
