I've had kids do things similar too that,
Me: *trying to clean up house for kids parents*
the kids are eating pizza
kid #1 : *spills pizza sauce on floor*
me: can you tell me where the towels are so I can clean that?
kid #1: your not the boss of me.
me: oh really?
kid #2: yeah he can beat you up!
(I'm like 4x the size of this kid)
me: I can't fight someone as little as you so how about a pushup war? if you win I'll give you a dollar, if I win.... let me know where the towels are.
kid #1: alright, how do you win?
me: you do more pushups then me.
kid #1: Alright!
me: *does 100 straight pushups*
kid #1: *can't do 1 pushup*
kid #1 & 2 run in bathroom and lock door.

i went to a thrift store today and found the cutest little music box shaped like a piano. its old fasioned and a see-thru red so you can see the mechanics on the inside. i tried it out in the store and it was really cool but the price tag was scraped off so i asked the lady at the desk how much it costs. according to her its broken and i tried to tell her it wasn't but because i'm a minor i'm apparently stupid too. so she didn't listen. on the plus side because it was "broken" i got it for free! its so cute and old i love it <3

I hate it when adults treat younger people like they know nothing.
this guy came into our yard, stealing our newspapers when I asked him to "please stop"
he began giving me a bunch of crap about how I don't understand that the neighborhood looks gross and these papers sitting out like this makes it worse... Excuse me? these papers have been out for less then an hour! he threatened to call the city on us, (they were on our side)
we argued for a few minutes until he got in his car and drove off with more then half of the papers we have to pay for.
