I'm new to the chickens and have some hens just wondered if I decide to bred later does the rooster need to be the same breed as the hen probly stupid question but I have read conflicting info

I had a long work day today and tomorrow is even longer and it'll be my first time working there. i was really lucky to get this job offer.. altho i am tired and so not looking forward to it

funny thing is.. i didn't even apply. there's a lady tht owns a daycare (she's actually my bf's mom) and she saw me with some of the kids when i was over at her house and she automatically offered it to me
