I am in need of a deicer for my waterer, as the temperatures are getting colder and I want to be prepared for when it really gets cold this winter. My waterer is made out of a 4 gal ice cream bucket with four nipples in the bottom. It sits on a metal flowerpot stand with the nipples poking through. ANYWAY, I was wondering if this would work well? Anybody have experience with it? http://www.enasco.com/product/C12700N It will be plugged into a surge protector plugged into an outdoor extension cord. I don't know what type of outlet it's plugged into at the moment
