Does anyone use nipple waterers for their ducks? I see them advertised for ducks as well as chickens but was wondering how ducks take to them since they seem to like to get "personal" with their water.

There is book on google books about raising ducks and nipple waterers. They show a picture and they seem to work fine. But they also need deeper water to clear their nostrils. I have a self watering pan and love it. I did plan on putting nipple waters in their house thou.

What is the self watering pan? Where did you purchase it. I have looked at the bell waterers and thought of trying them. I was thinking of the nipples as extra water in locations where I didn't want a mess. They also have access to swimming water.
