According to Solutions Pest & Lawn, Nitrophos Superturf Fertilizer is safe to use around children and pets when used as directed on the product label.

In our experience of trying to improve our yard with various products every spring and fall, everything is usually safe after 12 hours, some said 24, some said when dry (for the wet products).
