NJ Rehome for two 4-week old chicks

Hello,

I currently have two 4-week old chicks that I took in after my school conducted a hatching program. I would love to keep them, but my town ordinances does not allow us to have chickens or roosters without 5 acres of land.

I am reaching out to see if anyone knows of any sanctuary's in the NJ/NY/PA/MA locations that would be willing to take in two chicks, and one who may be a rooster. I am also open to giving them to a family who has room for an additional rooster and would be able to provide them with a long and fulfilling life. I have reached out to a few sanctuary's and have been turned down. I am also willing to drive up to 5 hours as long as I can ensure they go to a good home. I will attach images of the two below.

I take it whoever conducted the hatching experiment at the school didn't fully realizes that a successful result would be chicks.
I do hope you can find someone within your set traveling distance.
They look lovely.

I'm in MA. We aren't really in a position to take in new chicks right now, and we can't have roosters.
They sure look like friendly cuties though! Best of luck to you in rehoming them!
