Hi I'm a first time owner of two chickens... Lucy Lady, and Gerta Girl. They r favorals.
One lays and also is getting peck by the other. What can I do? :/

Welcome to BYC! Those are cute names. My granddaughter names our hens after Disney princesses. Faverolles are very friendly and gentle breeds; great to have around children. Good luck with your flock.

Hello there and welcome to BYC!

Is she getting pecked in the nest box? Or just in general? Aggression can be stemmed from being cramp in small spaces, being hot, sick, or just a cranky nature. You need to give your birds an over all inspection to make sure they are all ok and healthy. Make sure to give them 5 square feet per bird in the coop and 10 square feet per bird in the run. If you are unable to stop one from being aggressive, you can use pinless peepers on the aggressor.
