Can you tell me how to find hens already laying?

What color are her legs? This is not technical at all

It certainly is not technical at all. There is no genetic link between between leg color and the egg shell color genes. I've had EE's with black, white, and yellow legs that laid green eggs. Same with blue eggs. There is no connection between ear lobe color and egg shell color either.

There are a lot of different gene pairs on the Chromosomes that determine all these different colors. They are not linked genetically.

Good, because you have to be extremely careful buying birds from CL, people sell sick birds like nothing.
The last thing you want to do is bring a disease into your flock and have to deal with constantly playing nurse to your birds.
Take your time and research sellers.
