No Brooders, No Problem

Maybe there should be a study?

I've often wondered how many folks with poultry have OCD too, like me.

Rest assured Beckie, you're not alone - they just haven't found this thread yet.

Well then I guess I'm just gonna sit here and wait for them to show up

I would so try this if I knew hubby would be gone for 3 weeks. I'm putting out a lot of heat with these hot flashes. Maybe its counter-productive...could probably be too hot & humid! Might be better environment for incubating geese or duck eggs. :)

I have to ask, with all due respect, is every chicken mom large breasted except for me?

....lol
I have been married for 30 years in April, am I the only wife that her husband doesn't mind eggs being in her bra?

*Glances down at cleavage* Nope. Definitely NOT large breasted. I barely fill an A-Cup!

I was actually gonna do temp trending under a hen because I went and candled Helen's clutch of eggs and got the ring of death on another egg. The other refrigerator egg is fine. It was a different egg. :( But one of her egg is very developed maybe only a cpl days behind mine in development! Helen has some intense warmth going on under her body :D

My egg embryo doing well Day#15 I need a better flashlight! On a mission today so I can continue to monitor my embryo's development.

Last night Daisy had pushed 2 of her eggs out from under her again! I gave them to Helen after I labeled them. Perhaps I can slip them back to Daisy one at a time. OR should I just give her the babies after they are born. I am worried about her sitting on eggs. She has one. Helen is a natural momma, she took them both and shuffled them in with the others.

My husband's not shocked by anything I do anymore...even at the things that I'm shocked I did

Well.... I was curious and had to see if I had enough to keep an egg in there. Not sure if I do, it would be noticeable for sure... Dh well... He started building me an incubator out of a cooler. Not sure if he reaslises how many eggs will fit in there at a time. He just signed on for a whole lot more chickens!
