I have a brown and a white Cochin I’m guessing full sized as they are the same size as my RIR and eggers.

Anyway the white one (snowball) has a full comb the brown one (Big foot) has none? Both came with 4 eggers (only 3 left) and those have pea combs as expected. I’m not sure if any are laying really as they are in a mixed flock with some 2 year old hens. 14 hens and about 4 eggs a day soooo???? Anyway is a comb like thing normal for a Cochin at this age?

I’m including pictures I took today. Big foot is in the right in the first picture. I can take more if needed....

Not all hens develop a large comb. My cochin have smaller combs than your white bird but larger than the brown. Some of my serama never develop a big comb and lay many eggs. I have a couple with large combs that have never laid.

Is Big Foot's comb bright red? If so, she may be laying eggs.
4 eggs from 14 hens.... If this has been the norm for your flock consider a diet change and looking for factors that may be keeping egg production so low. While cochin may not be the best at egg laying our five cochin hens give us all the eggs we need.

In your photos, Big Foot does not have waddle development yet either. I'd guess she is a late bloomer and probably not laying yet. If she had waddles and a small comb, I'd say she just genetically has a smaller comb. I see you are in CT and we've just passed the winter solstice and our days should be getting longer. I suspect in the coming weeks/months you will see increased egg production from your flock as our days get longer again.

Partridge Brahma? Really!? Tell me more!

Yes, low egg production right now like was said it’s dark here in Ct!
No lights in the coop. We have power but I don’t want to push them I have read how good the brake is for them. 4 eggs is perfect for the 2 of us and the 2 dogs who get one a day.
5 of the 14 are 30 weeks old so I’m guessing not all are laying a friend got 5 eggers from the same batch, they started about 2 weeks ago. He is getting 2 eggs every other day. We have 2 older eggers too, so I’m not sure if they are the ones laying or if the 3 from this summer are.

Big foot does have a red stripe? Not really a comb. No waddles really just the red spot.

Maybe she is just a late bloomer?

I would have to agree with june, This likes like a partridge Brahma to me, Brahmas either have very very small waddles or don't have waddles at all and have small combs called 'Pea combs'
