No combs

I got 6 chicks mid June. 3 Buff Orpingtons and 3 Plymouth Rocks . No eggs yet, but only 1 Rock is growing a comb.. is that weird?

If her comb is getting big and red, that means she's getting close to laying an egg. The others just aren't ready yet.

Maybe they are not ready yet still in their growing stages you sure you have hens .
Maybe you have roosters?
