No crow rooster collar death beware

Oh he was so handsome! I'm sorry for your loss. I never even heard of these collars until I read this thread! They sound so dangerous.

I’ve had them off and on my roos for over a year and never had any issues! I really hope it’s not the collar, I will feel so bad.

I never had one of these on my roosters but a couple of things come to mind. Firstly, a couple of people mentioned that they tightened them right before their roosters died. I also remember someone putting it back on the rooster after having it on and off for considerable amount of time.
It seems to me that these were too tight.
It also seems to me that the fabric used should be somewhat stretchy.
I also wonder how many people fitted the collar on a thinner part of the neck, only to have it slide down to where the neck is thicker.
