Can a hen be none fertile like humans can? Sounds silly I know, but I have a hen, which is 19 weeks old, stiil could be weeks away from laying, I get that, but she has tried every day for the last 3 weeks to lay an egg. She sits in the Hot coop, for about 30 minutes or more, and just comes back out, and no egg.
She has been squatting foa over a month. It is my other white leghorn, which I also heard and have read they are early layers.
Is it possible for a hen to not have any eggs to lay, but instinct has taken over to do what they are suppose to do?
