I live in Michigan. It get's dark by about 5:30PM and doesnt get light till about 8AM. It's been below freezing for at least the last week (if not longer).

My easter egger hasn't laid an egg since 10/23/13 and today is 12/13/13. That's almost 2 month!

My 3 ISA Brown's lay every day and haven't missed any days. All my chickens were chicks last March.

So why hasn't the easter egger laid an egg in about 2 months? I haven't changed anything (type of feed or anything).

    Help.

The EE is bred for egg color not the massive egg production of your sex links. She will lay when the day length increases, and when the sex links are burned out and no longer laying she will continue to lay until old age.
