We have 8 hens, 2 of which are Golden Buffs. They lay huge eggs, but recently are laying with little or no shell just membrane and insides. all the other hens are laying fine.

I had some soft shell eggs the other day and I think it might of had something to do with the late night thunderstorms that we had here later Thursday early Friday morning for it was Saturday that I got the soft shelled eggs.

Yes, we feed them oyster shells. The food is Purina Layena and yes they are free range. Any ideas?
