No eggs for months....?

I went a good 3 months in our Autumn,winter, eggs had become a standard item on my shopping list, but they did eventually start again.

I would just rule out something stealing/eating the eggs though by putting a bought one in the nest for 24 hrs to see if it vanishes.

If they free range I would lock them in their run for a few days in case they have found somewhere more interesting to lay.

I don't think I have an egg thief. I have thought about putting an egg in there to see what would happen. They are all caged at the moment.

I'd be switching that ratio around to 3 parts feed to 1 part corn...and don't mix them but throw the corn down in the run.

I miss-worded that. It is 3 to 1 in favor of the feed. Sorry to confuse you guys.
