WE got the eggs out today and instead of putting a roll of wire under the roosts, we used hog wire. At least it will be a challenge to scratch up enough straw to make a comfortable nest.
They have a 4 x 16 run with wire sides, top and bottom. It opens from the top. The house is built with the back to the run and has a door for them. It is not raised and has a dirt floor. It contains nesting boxes and the roost. It also has a sky light (a freebie). The top is removeable but heavy.
Now we can look forward to what they think up next.
Thanks for the suggestions and letting me vent. Next time I think I will try to find the midget!!!!
