No eggs no rooster

Hi, my husband and I are new to this forum. We live in NW Washington and have 5 chickens (hens) for 3 years now. They are a smart bunch and they are happy. Madam Woo is trying to become a mother by parking on her nest for days (no rooster). The others have stopped laying eggs, except the odd 1 or 2. Our weather has been cool and they live under a giant cedar tree, which is 10 degrees cooler than elsewhere on our land. Need some insight on this. Thanks so much!

Many factors can effect laying from type of breed, weather, diet and even illness. Take a look at this article, maybe you can glean some info from it... https://www.backyardchickens.com/ar...ve calcium reserves,and they will stop laying.
