I have 5 chickens. We haven't had an egg in 6 months. 2 were molting the beginning of winter so I figured that's what it was. But not it's warming up they're just hanging out in their coop most the day not wanting to go out of it. I'm giving them tons of fresh produce scraps and sprouted lentils that they aren't really touching. They get purina layer Pellets and crumble and some red pepper flakes. Could all of them be sick or how do I figure out what they need??

Cut out the "tons of fresh produce scraps and sprouted lentils"
It maybe healthy stuff but it off sets the nutrition from their feed which is what they need.

Are they eating the Purina feed? Drinking? Pooping?
Has there been an issue with "predators" around?
Where are you located, is there snow on the ground? Muddy grounds?
When you say "go out" is it the run or free range?

All the extras actually depletes their nutrition, feed nothing but the feed for awhile.
Ditto Dat^^^

But not it's warming up
It's more about length of daylight than temps.

Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!
