No eggs?r

I have a single RI red hen. One nite she was still trying to lay her daily egg, unusal because she normally finished about noon. She had to go into her tree for the nite, and went back to sitting in the morning, and was still sitting in the afternoon, no egg. I thought she was getting lonely, she I got her a young roster that day. This was before I found out she had an eg laying issue. He does not know about the birds and bees yet. Anyhow, she finally got the egg out, but since then, no eggs? GWhat gives? There was a couple slightly different color eggs the days before this.

Could be a number of things....Stress is a major issue with chickens, be it from the heat, and alot of birds are starting to go into molt this time of year which is stressful. Anything out of the ordinary with her with eating or other behavior characteristics?

Nothing unusual about her eating, eats like a pig. What is molt? My 4.5 month old rooster is really super cool! Hope he stays that way.
