A watched pot never boils...Sock the laying mash to them, you will have more eggs than you know what to do with shortly. My Reds, Rocks and Buffs started laying at 22 weeks. No heat, nest in the open with my hand comming thru the egg doors soon as one poops out. Hang in there.
