No eggs what am I doing wrong?

well,....

I will switch feed brands Friday for sure.. I had the layer mash added, well one, their spoiled and like it and honestly I thought it was a good thing and easily digested.

I added the sunflower seeds to bump up the protein but I didnt realize that it would drop the layer??? as would the scratch grains.. I did know not to add the same levels of grains to feed. that it is an additive. for extra...

wormed them all last night and today they all seem fine and happy.. I did notice more feathers flying around when i stopped and paid attention.. i also striped the coop and the run today and cleaned disinfected and dusted it .. bleached all water and feed ers. and roost.. I think I need to keep a closer eye on internal parasites especially when I bought the 4 that I realy believed were loaded with them. so marked calendar to have a scheduled for them..

I am really appreciative of all the advice and keep it coming.. I know Im not the only one out here having this same problem..

The diet could be improved simply be eliminating the scratch and slowing down on the treats. Other than that, diet isn't likely the huge issue here.

You have 18 hens older than 24 weeks, right? However, only two are laying. It could be the others just need more time, but also, since you are apparently bringing home chickens from a sale that you are likely importing lots of funkiness by way diseases and parasites as well. Worming was a good idea. Do you have to repeat the treatment so many times? Most folks do a 30 day total separation of new chickens for health reasons.

Don't forget to add a little light in the am, if you wish to help them in that regard. Watch for egg eaters. Not likely, but thought I'd mention it. Also be sure you don't let them roam. Keep them in the coop/run until this is all resolved. You don't want/need to go on an egg hunt for secret nests.

everyone I have bought or brought home have gone through a 2 week quarantine away from the flock and out of coop /pen.. havent had any one new for a while.. so thats a super good thing, no sickness. yeahhh
