Hi,
I have 3 Indian Runners and 2 Khaki Cambells, they have all but one, which I think is a Cambell, stopped laying.
They all look fit and happy, they are all approx 12 months, my 3 chickens are laying as normall.
Any ideas or suggestions.
Thanks
Graham

How long has it been since they stopped laying? They're pretty young still but they should be laying every other day or so..have you checked to see if any are egg bound?

Did they find a place to hide eggs? I had tgat problem with my chickens. Found several eggs in the shed.

I have checked all the normal places but even when they are kept out of the main garden I only find one egg in the duck house.
I wouldn't know how to check if they are egg bound as they are not tame enough to approach easily, I used to get an average of 4 eggs/day from the 5 birds.
This has been happening over the last month.

Could be molt also, My Runners and Buffs have been egg laying machines until last few weeks today only 2 eggs from 7 females so molt is the culprit here. Molt shorter days can all contribute. Ducks like chickens and all poultry need breaks in the laying to give their bodies time to recoup if they didn't they be laid out after 1-2 yrs.
